HERAtlas–named after the ancient goddess guardian of women–seeks to safeguard and illuminate women’s artistic contributions. The goal of the project is to address the gender inequality in the visual arts, through an intervention in the form of an interactive atlas that visualises both the presence and the absence of art created by women.

The project is a collaboration with Dr. Eftychia Stamkou, Dr. Melvin Wevers, and Studio Bertels. Our aim with this project is to make targeted interventions and contribute towards a more inclusive art world, if this is something that interests you as well please do reach out!
